Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

Two ready biodegradability studies (OECD 301 A and 301C) are summarised. A third study investigated how to improve removal in a Sewage treatment plant. This study concludes that the product has the inherent potential to degrade after acclimatisation of the inoculum.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Biodegradation in water:
under test conditions no biodegradation observed

Additional information

The ready biodegradability of the test material was examined. Since the lag time was >240 hours, the test material does not meet the criteria for ready biodegradability. A non standard study demonstrates inherent potential for degradation after acclimatisation of the inoculum.
