Specific details on test material used for the study:
Due to the low vapour pressure of the test substance the tests using the gas saturation method had to be performed at 60, 70 and 80 °C.
The vapour pressure of BIT at 25°C was extrapolated by linear regression.

Based on the experimental results the vapour pressure curve in In P versus 1/T was plotted. The vapour pressure of ACTICIDE BIT at 25°C was extrapolated by linear regression and determined to be 3.7 10-4Pa at 25°C.
