Description of key information

The physical and chemical properties of the test item can be summarised as follows:

- Appearance: The substance is a white powder under ambient conditions.

- Melting point: The substance changed colour indicating decomposition, but did not melt

- Boiling point: The study did not need to be conducted because the substance is a solid which decomposes before boiling

- Density: The substance has a relative density of 1.07 at 20 °C

- Particle size distribution: The particle size distribution: D10= 12.5 µm; D50= 101.0 µm; D90= 498.9 µm. 8.4% is smaller than 10 µm. MMAD= 104.5 µm (ISO 13320: laser diffraction analysis).

- Vapour pressure: The test item had a vapour pressure of 0.58 Pa at 25 °C

- Partition coefficient: The log Kow of the test item was 21 at 20 °C

- Water solubility: The water solubility was determined to be < 0.9 mg/L at 20 °C

- Surface tension: The surface tension was determined to be 70.4 mN/m at 20 °C at a concentration of 0.9 mg/L

- Flash point: The study did not need to be conducted because the flash point is only relevant to liquids and low melting point solids

- Auto flammability: The test item does not self-ignite below 400 °C

- Flammability: The test item was determined to be not flammable

- Explosiveness: The test item was determined to be not explosive

- Oxidising properties: The test did not need to be conducted as a negative result would be excepted on structural grounds.
