Description of key information

Based on the results of a Buehler-Test, the substance is not skin sensitising.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Skin sensitisation

Endpoint conclusion
Endpoint conclusion:
no adverse effect observed (not sensitising)
Additional information:

In a Buehler-Test, performed according to OECD guideline 406 and GLP principles, twenty guinea pigs were topically induced with 50% test substance. Three test group animals showed slight erythema after the last topical induction. Concentration of test substance used for each challenge was 25%. No evidence of sensitisation was observed in the test group animals after the challenge.

Respiratory sensitisation

Endpoint conclusion
Endpoint conclusion:
no study available

Justification for classification or non-classification

Based on the study results, MDI/CHA/ODA does not have to be classified for skin sensitisation according to Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008.
