Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

The boiling point was determined with 260.6 °C(533.8 K) under decomposition.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Boiling point at 101 325 Pa:
260.6 °C

Additional information

The boiling point was determined with 260.6 °C(533.8 K) under decomposition.

This value was determined in two independent determinations.

When melting the test item, signs of decomposition were observed. The colour of the test item changed from white to yellow. The form of the test item changed from powder to a liquid during the melting. Further heating-up caused a change in colour of the test item into crimson. The formation of gas was visible. At the boiling point, decomposition took place rapidly, the colour of the test item changed into black. Decomposition was observed in both determinations. The determination of the decomposition fragments was not subject of this study.

The boiling point of the test item can be determined at 260.6°C (533.8 K) under decomposition.
