Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

2EHDPP is a “poorly soluble” substance with tendency to stay undissolved when its concentration exceed the water solubility value. Effects observed in the presence of undissolved test material are not indicative of true toxicity but rather indicates physical effects.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

The available studies on the short-term toxicity to invertebrates of 2EHDPP are listed in the table below:

As all measured toxicity values are well above the water solubility (50.6 ug/l) of the substance, 2EHDPP can not be classified as toxic to the environment.
