Description of key information

According to Annex IX in REACH regulation, for susbtance with a Kow value < 3, no study needs to be conducted. With a log Kow of 0.0, this condition is fulfilled for methylal. Methylal BCF was estimated at 0.6 with BCFBAF Programm (v3.00).

Methylal should not bioconcentrate in fish and aquatic organisms.
