Applicant's summary and conclusion

Conclusions:
In the test conditions, the authors of this in-house investigation found that sodium fluoride has a mean diameter of 99.47 µm and a D50 of 97.7 µm when the granulometry is analyzed by laser diffraction.
Executive summary:

In this in-house investigation, the authors tested the granulometry of sodium fluoride (CAS n° 7681 -49 -4) with a laser diffraction method. They controlled the volume distribution of sodium fluoride recently manufactured with a principle based on a methodology similar to the french standard NF ISO 13320. Deviations to this standard are unknown.

Hence, the investigators estimated that sodium fluoride has a mean diameter of 99.47 µm and a D50 of 97.7 µm. Furthermore, they established the specific surface area of the test substance at 0.2474 m² / cc.

The analysis of granulometry with a laser diffraction is based on generally accepted scientific principles. Furthermore, the present in-house report is sufficiently documented. Hence this study should be considered as reliable with restrictions, a Klimisch 2.e study.
