Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Applicant's summary and conclusion

Conclusions:
Interpretation of results (migrated information): very soluble (> 10000 mg/L)
In this peer-reviewed database, sodium fluoride is reported to have a water solubility on average around 37.03 g/L at 0 °C, 41.4g/L at 20 °C, 39.06 g/L at 25 °C and 41.04 g/L at 40 °C.
Executive summary:

In this peer-reviewed database, sodium fluoride is reported to have a water solubility on average around 37.03 g/L at 0 °C, 41.4g/L at 20 °C, 39.06 g/L at 25 °C and 41.04 g/L at 40 °C. The remaining solubilities in water reported in the database were at non environmental temperatures, i.e well below 0°C and far above 80 °C, and were thus not incorporated in this endpoint study record.

According to the ECHA Guidance on information requirements and chemical safety assessment, Chapter R.7a: Endpoint specific guidance, the Gmelin database, related to the Beilstein databse should be considered as a peer-reviewed database. Hence, these values are considered as reliable with restrictions and equivalent to data from Handbook.
