Acute classification

The existing acute data for algae and Daphnia show a NOEC value > 100 mg/L (nominal). The OECD 236 on fish embryos shows no toxicity below the water solubility limit.

Chronic classification

1,1,4,4-tetramethylbutane-1,4-diyl bis(2-ethylperoxyhexanoate is readily biodegradable, and the measured log Kow is >6.5. No toxicity was observed at the water solubility limit in any of the performed tests (Daphnia and algae).

When chronic data for less than 3 trophic levels are available the classification is assessed using both the existing chronic and acute data, and the most stringent outcome is chosen.
