Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Test solutions

Vehicle:
no
Details on test solutions:
Saturated test solutions with 100 mg TN-105 per litre were prepared and filtered. This nominal loading of 100 mg/l was then diluted by a factor of two to get the further nominal loadings loadings of 6.25, 12.5, 25, and 50 mg/l.

Test organisms

Test organisms (species):
Daphnia magna

Study design

Test type:
semi-static
Water media type:
freshwater
Limit test:

Total exposure duration:
21 d

Test conditions

Nominal and measured concentrations:
Nominal loading 100 mg/L: 7.5, 3.8 and 12.4 mg/l (mean: 7.9 mg/l).
Nominal loading 50 mg/L: 3.7, 1.9 and 6.1 mg/l (mean: 3.85 mg/l)

Applicant's summary and conclusion

Conclusions:
Nominal loadings up to and including 100 mg/l did not affect survival/viability). Adult growth (body length), mean cumulative reproduction, age to first brood and intrinsic rate was unaffected up to and including a nominal loading of 50 mg/l (relevant NOEL: 50 mg/l), corresponding to a measured concentration (NOEC) of 3.85 mg/l.
