Test conditions
- Test temperature:
- the incubation temperature was continuously monitored during the course of the study by a PT100 probe installed in the environmental test chamber. It was in the range 24.0 – 24.1 °C with a mean value of 24.0 °C and a standard deviation of 0.02 °C. The temperature range provided by OECD guideline is 24 ± 2 C. The temperature values during the test were within the provided range.
- pH:
- The pH values of test media were in the range of 7.74 – 7.90 at the beginning of the test period and 8.80 – 9.58 at the end. After 72 hours the pH were in the range 8.86 - 9.32.
- Nominal and measured concentrations:
- 70.0 mg/l was founded to be the maximum soluble concentration. Therefore the final test included the following concentration: 3.0, 6.6, 14.5, 31.8, 70.0 mg/l.
- Details on test conditions:
- Light intensity: 5183 - 5320 Lux
- Reference substance (positive control):
