Description of key information
According to ECHA Guidance on information requirements and chemical safety assessment, hapter R.7b (version 4.0, June 2017) Endpoint specific guidance:
The Biodegradability and sewage treatment simulation test results can be sufficient to provide adequate and reliable information to cover the standard information requirement on the toxicity to microorganismes study.
Under the conditions of OECD Guideline N°301D:Biodegradation and sewage treatement simulation test.
Examination of the percentage degradation values of the test material for the toxicity control showed that the toxicity control attained 39% degradation by Day 12 of the study.Since the validation criteria for the toxicity control ( ⩾ 25% degradation by day 14) has been achived and so then the test material was not toxic to the sewage treatment micro-organisms used in the study.
The registered substance is not inhibitory to micro-organisms
