Administrative data

First-aid measures

- First-aid measures general: If you feel unwell, seek medical advice. If possible show him this sheet. Failing this, show him the packaging or label.

- First-aid measures after inhalation:Remove victim to fresh air and allow to rest. Get medical advice/attention if you feel unwell.

- First-aid measures after skin contact: Wash skin with plenty of water.

- First-aid measures after eye contact: Rinse eyes with water as a precaution.

- First-aid measures after ingestion: Rinse mouth out with water. Do NOT induce vomiting. Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person. Get immediate medical advice/attention.

Fire-fighting measures

- Suitable extinguishing media: Carbon dioxide (CO2). Dry powder. Water spray. Alcohol resistant foam.

- Unsuitable extinguishing media: Strong water jet.

- Explosion hazard: Dust may form explosive mixture in air.

- Hazardous decomposition products in case of fire: In case of fire, oxides of carbon and nitrogen may be liberated.

- Firefighting instructions: Prevent fire fighting water from entering the environment. Use water spray or fog for cooling exposed containers.

- Protection during firefighting: Do not attempt to take action without suitable protective equipment. Wear self-contained breathing apparatus due to dangerous fumes and gases.

Accidental release measures

6.1  Personal precautions, Protective equipment and emergency procedures:

General measures: Ensure that there is a suitable ventilation system. Avoid generation of dust. Do not breathe dust.

6.1.1. For non-emergency personnel

Emergency procedures: Do not attempt to take action without suitable protective equipment. Ventilate spillage area. Mark out the contaminated area with signs and prevent access to unauthorized personnel.

6.1.2. For emergency responders

Protective equipment: Wear recommended personal protective equipment. For further information refer to section 8: "Exposure controls/personal protection".

6.2 Environmental precautions:

Prevent from entering sewers or the immediate environment. Contain the spilled material by bunding.

6.3 Methods and material for containment and cleaning up:

- For containment:

Mechanically recover the product. Avoid dust production. Use non-sparking tools. Shovel into suitable and closed container for disposal. Dispose of in accordance with relevant local regulations.

- Other information:

Dispose of waste water in conformity with current regulations.

Handling and storage

7.1 Precautions for safe handling:

- Precautions for safe handling: Ensure good ventilation of the work station. Otherwise wear personal breathing apparatus. Avoid dust production. Do not breathe dust. Avoid release to the environment. Avoid the build-up of electrostatic charge. Avoid ignition sources. Do not ingest.

- Hygiene measures:Change contaminated clothing and in any case at the end of work. Handle in accordance with good industrial hygiene and safety practice. Wear suitable protective clothing. Always wash hands after handling the product. Do not eat, drink or smoke when using this product.

7.2 Conditions for safe storage, including any incompatibilities:

- Technical measures: Electrical equipment, including lighting, must conform to current legislation. Containers which are opened should be properly resealed and kept upright to prevent leakage. Use non-sparking tools.

- Storage conditions: Keep container tightly closed. Store in dry, well-ventilated area. Keep away from sources of ignition.

- Incompatible materials: Oxidation agents. Acids.

- Special rules on packaging: Store in original container.

Exposure controls / personal protection

Gloves. Protective clothing. Dust/aerosol mask with filter type P3. Safety glasses.

Hand protection: Protective gloves (Plastic, impervious). The protective gloves to be used must comply with the specifications of the regulation 2016/425 and the resultant standard EN 374. Breakthrough time : refer to the recommendations of the supplier

Body protection: Wear suitable protective clothing

Eye protection: Safety glasses. (DIN EN 166)

Respiratory protection: In case of insufficient ventilation, use a breathing mask with filter type: P3.

Environmental exposure controls: Avoid release to the environment.

Stability and reactivity

- Reactivity: To our knowledge, the product does not present any particular risk, under normal conditions of use.

- Chemical stability: The product is stable at normal handling and storage conditions.

- Possibility of hazardous reactions: Dust may form explosive mixture in air.

- Conditions to avoid: Avoid dust formation. Keep away from open flames, hot surfaces and sources of ignition. Avoid static electricity discharges.

- Incompatible materials: Oxidation agents. Acids.

- 10.6. Hazardous decomposition products: Under normal conditions of storage and use, hazardous decomposition products should not be produced.

Disposal considerations

Waste treatment methods:

Authorized disposal. Dispose of in a safe manner, in accordance with local regulations. Recover or destroy according to current local regulations. Do not burn, or use a cutting torch on the empty drum. This material and its container must be disposed of in a safe way. Handle uncleaned and non-rinsed empty containers with care.
