Key result
Water solubility:
19 g/L
Conc. based on:
test mat.
Incubation duration:
96 h
Temp.:
20 °C
pH:
>= 5.77 - <= 6.22
Details on results:
The preliminary test indicated that the test item was soluble in water with a solubility above 1000 mg/L. Hence the final determination was undertaken using the flask method.
Flask method: the solubility in water was found to be 19.0 +/- 1.4 g/L, with a precision of 7%. In the 3 replicates prepared, the pH values were found to be acid. The resulting saturated solutions were brownish.

Conclusions:
The solubility of the test item in water was found to be 19.0 +/- 1.4 g/L (CV=7%) at 20.0 +/- 0.5°C. The resulting saturated solutions were acid and brownish.
Executive summary:

The aim of the test was to determine the solubility in water of the test item according to the OECD 105 guideline/ A.6 method (Flask method) and following GLP.

The solubility of the test item in water was found to be 19.0 +/- 1.4 g/L (CV=7%) at 20.0 +/- 0.5°C. The resulting saturated solutions were acid and brownish.
