Additional information

The substance is a white powder with an inconspicuous odour at 20 °C and 1013 hPa. The melting range lays between 129.1 - 131.15 °C, whereas the boiling point is not measured as the substance decomposes at 201 °C. The density is 1.2905 ± 0.0050 g/cm3 at 20.0 °C and the vapour pressure is 0.000000859 Pa, at 20 °C. The surface tension is not a desired property of the substance, moreover the substance is considered as an unstable explosive but not oxidising. The particle size distribution showed that 92 % of the particles are larger than 136 μm, moreover no particles smaller than 10 μm (or 4 μm) are detected thus the inhalation route of exposition is not considerable. Its logPow is equal to 0.681 at 22 °C which means that it has a greater affinity for the aqueous phase. The substance is very soluble in water (2500 g/l) and it is not expected to be auto-flammable or flammable.
