Results and discussion

% Degradation
Key result
Parameter:
% degradation (O2 consumption)
Value:
76
Sampling time:
28 d
Details on results:
Anther undergoes 79% biodegradation after 34 days (76% after 28 days) in the test conditions. Biodegradation starts on day 7 and reaches 64% at the end of the 10 day window (day 7 to day 17).
At the concentration used in the test (100 mg/l), Anther is not inhibitory to the micro-organisms.

Applicant's summary and conclusion

Validity criteria fulfilled:
yes
Interpretation of results:
readily biodegradable
Conclusions:
Anther should be regarded as readily biodegradable according to this test.
Executive summary:

The Ready biodegradation of Anther was determined by the Manometric Respiratory test according to the OECD guideline for testing of chemicals, Method No. 301F.

Anther undergoes 79% biodegradation after 34 days (76% after 28 days) in the test conditions. Biodegradation starts on day 7 and reaches 64% at the end of the 10 day window (day 7 to day 17).

Anther should be regarded as readily biodegradable according to this test.

At the concentration used in the test (100 mg/l), Anther is not inhibitory to the micro-organisms.
