Additional information

AH-salt is a salt which does not sublime. Therefore, degradation of AH-salt by photolytic mechanisms in the atmosphere is not expected to be of relevance. In the aqueous environment or with soil moisture, the substance dissociates rapidly to adipic acid (CAS No: 124-04-9) and 1,6-Hexametylenediamine, (CAS No: 124 -09 -4). Therefore, degradation by photolytic processes in soil or water are no expected to be of relevance. Furthermore, studies on the phototransformation in water or soil are not required for a registration under REACh.
