Description of key information
The results of a key and a supporting study both agree that DIPE is soluble in water.

The water solubility of DIPE was sourced from a key study of Klimisch-2 reliability by Maczynsk et al.(2008), and was reported as 3.11 g/L at 20.2 °C and a pH of 7. The water solubility of DIPE also was sourced from a supporting study by Stephenson (1992), which also was of Klimisch-2 reliability and reported a water solubility of 0.79 % (w/w) at 20 °C.
