Description of key information

From guideline Daphnia and algal studies performed in 2023 with supporting analysis, the substance appears moderately hazardous in aquatic media with effects between 10 - 100 mg/l for classification purposes.

A long-term fish feeding study suggests low oral toxicity, but this study cannot be ued for classification.

In both the acute Daphnia study (24 hour semi-static renewal) and 72 hour algal study, there was significnat loss of test material.  This confirms apparent biodegradation under natural conditions.
