Description of key information

The substance is readily biodegradable and has no adsorption potential. No further biotic degradation testing is necessary to assess the biodegradability. The ready biodegradability fulfilled the 10 day window criterion (comparable to the control). There is no need to identify degradation products because L-cysteine hydrochloride as well as L-cysteine hydrochloride monohydrate is readily biodegradable.
