First-aid measures

First-aid measures after inhalation :

Remove victim to fresh air and keep at rest in a position comfortable for breathing. If breathing

is difficult, give oxygen. In all cases of doubt, or when symptoms persist, seek medical attention

First-aid measures after skin contact :

Immediately remove contaminated clothing or footwear. After contact with skin, wash

immediately with plenty of water. In all cases of doubt, or when symptoms persist, seek medical

advice.

First-aid measures after eye contact :

Rinse immediately and thoroughly, pulling the eyelids well away from the eye (15 minutes

minimum).

First-aid measures after ingestion :

If swallowed, rinse mouth with water (only if the person is conscious). Get medical

advice/attention

Fire-fighting measures

Suitable extinguishing media :

Dry powder. Carbon dioxide (CO2). Water spray. Alcohol-resistant foam.

Unsuitable extinguishing media :

Strong water jet.. Special hazards arising from the substance or mixture

Reactivity in case of fire :

On burning release of harmful/irritant gases/vapours e.g.: (carbon monoxide - carbon dioxide).

Advice for firefighters

Firefighting instructions :

Use water spray/stream to protect personnel and to cool endangered containers.

Other information :

Collect contaminated fire extinguishing water separately. Do not allow entering drains or

surface water.

Accidental release measures

Environmental precautions.

Do not empty into drains or aquatic environment

Methods or materials for containment and cleaning up.

Absorb with liquid-binding material ( eg.sand, diatomaceous earth,acid-or universal  binding agents)

After cleaning ,flush away with water.

Handling and storage

Precautions for safe handling : Avoid contact with skin, eye and clothing. Do not breathe gas/vapour/spray. Provide adequate

ventilation.

Hygiene measures : Wash hands before breaks and at the end of work. Do no eat, drink or smoke when using this

product. Take off contaminated clothing and wash before reuse.

Conditions for safe storage, including any incompatibilities

Storage conditions : Store in a cool dry place.

Incompatible products : Hazardous polymerization: Strong acid.

Prohibitions on mixed storage : (strong) acids. Oxidizing agents, strong.

Storage area : Keep container tightly closed in a cool, well-ventilated place.

Packaging materials : metallic. polyethylene

Exposure controls / personal protection

Appropriate engineering controls : Provide adequate ventilation. Emergency eye wash fountains and safety showers should be

available in the immediate vicinity of any potential exposure.

Hand protection : Rubber gloves.

Eye protection : Tightly sealed safety glasses.

Skin and body protection : Avoid contact with skin, eye and clothing. For the protection against direct skin contact, body

protective clothing is essential (in addition to the usual working clothes). Wear face protection.

Take off contaminated clothing and wash before reuse.

Respiratory protection : In case of inadequate ventilation wear respiratory protection. Filter respirator (full mask or

mouth-piece) with filter: A2. In case of fine dispersion/spraying/misting: A2P2

Disposal considerations

Waste treatment methods

Regional legislation (waste) : Remove according to the regulations.

Sewage disposal recommendations : Ensure all waste water is collected and treated via a waste water treatment plant.

Waste disposal recommendations : Collect in closed containers for disposal.
