Description of key information
The substance Esterification products of Guerbet alcohols, C24-26, branched and cyclic with benzene-1,2,4-tricarboxylic acid 1,2-anhydride has an extremely low water solubility (< 1 mg/L). The substance is therefore not expected to partition into water and consequently hydrolysis will not significantly contribute to the removal from the environment.
The biodegradation study demonstrates that the material is not inherently biodegradable in water.
Further, Esterification products of Guerbet alcohols, C24-26, branched and cyclic with benzene-1,2,4-tricarboxylic acid 1,2-anhydride and its constituents are highly immobile in soil.
