Description of key information

The ErC50 (72h) for Mn(2Na)IDHA was determined as 597.57 mg/L while the NOEC (72h) amounts to < 10 mg/L.

Taking this information into account it can be concluded that results obtained for acute toxicity of Mn(2Na)IDHA are also applicable for Mg(2Na)IDHA and presence of Mg cation in Mg(2Na)IDHA molecule instead Mn2+could not influence of it acute toxicity to aquatic algae and cyanobacteria.
