Description of key information

The substance is considered non-explosive and a study does not need to be conducted because there are no chemical groups present in the molecule which are associated with explosive properties. This conclusion is supported by a thermal sensitivity test that was performed, showing no explosive properties as well as by a calculation method, estimating exothermic energy resulting from decomposition, also supporting no concern for explosivity.

Additional information

Justification for classification or non-classification

The substance is considered non-explosive and a study does not need to be conducted because there are no chemical groups present in the molecule which are associated with explosive properties. As a result, classification for explosive properties according to GHS and CLP (Regulation EC No 1272/2008) is not required.
