Description of key information

The photolysis was estimated using the Estimation method AOP of “EPI Suite TM v4.10”, and it was concluded that d-Phenothrin is expected to be unstable under the influence of light. D-phenothrin has a very low water solubility an accurate measurement of the hydrolysis rate is difficult, and therefore, to assess hydrolysis a calculation was performed with the estimation method HYDROWIN of “EPI Suite TM v4.10” and it has been concluded that d-phenothrin is very stable against hydrolysis at neutral pH.

Thus, whereas in aqueous media the substance is expected to be stable, in air the substance is expected to undergo photodegradation.
