Key result
Type:
log Pow
Partition coefficient:
> 7.2
pH:
7
Remarks on result:
other: The temperature was not reported
Details on results:
In the chromatogram of the test item solution, one peak with a retention time of 29.8 minutes was observed.
Under the same analytical conditions, the retention time of benzo[ghi]perylene (log Pow = 7.2)
was 18.6 minutes. Hence, it was concluded that the log Pow of substance is > 7.2 (Pow > 1.6x10(7)).
Conclusions:
The partition coefficient (Pow) of 4,4'-(1-phenylethane-1,1-diyl)bis(heptyloxybenzene) is > 1.6*10^7 at neutral pH and log Pow >7.2.
Executive summary:

The partition coefficient (Pow) of 4,4'-(1-phenylethane-1,1-diyl)bis(heptyloxybenzene) is > 1.6*10^7 at neutral pH and log Pow >7.2.
