Description of key information

The acute toxicity to fish was determined using the OECD 203 guideline.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Fresh water fish

Fresh water fish
Effect concentration:
1 682 mg/L

Additional information

The acute toxicity to zebra fish was determined in a 96 hour semi-static toxicity test. Fish were exposed to five test concentrations and a control, plus a ph-adjusted concentration equal to the high concentration. The NOEL based on measured concentrations was 491 mg/L. The LC50 based on the average between the measured and nominal concentrations at 96 hours was between 1023.8 and 2339.8 mg/L. The reported key value is the mean between these two values.
