Description of key information
The surface tension of KGA was determined in accordance with EU Method A.5 and OECD Guideline 115.

The surface tension of KGA was determined by means of a tensiometer using the ring method. The force that was required to withdraw a horizontally suspended ring from the surface of the solution is measured. Several measurements were made until a constant value was obtained. The resulting surface tension was 73.8 mN/m at 20 degrees C at a concentration of about 1 g/L. Based on the criteria, KGA is not considered a surface active substance.
