Justification for classification or non-classification

Based on an increased tumour incidence in animals, the substance was classified as Cat 2 (H351: Suspected of causing cancer) according to the EU Classification, Labelling and Packaging of Substances and Mixtures (CLP) Regulation (EC) No. 1272/2008. The existing classification for Annex VI was Category 2.
