Description of key information

Half life period of Benzenaminium, 3-[(4-amino-6-bromo-5,8-dihydro-1-hydroxy-8-imino-5-oxo-2-naphthalenyl)amino]-N,N,N-trimethyl-, chloride in water is observed to be 60 days (1.44e+003 hrs.) while in sediment it is 54.1666 days (1.3e+004 hrs). Based on these half life values of Benzenaminium, 3-[(4-amino-6-bromo-5,8-dihydro-1-hydroxy-8-imino-5-oxo-2-naphthalenyl)amino]-N,N,N-trimethyl-, chloride, it is concluded that the chemical is not persistent in water and sediment.
