Description of key information

The estimated bioconcentration factor (BCF) for Benzenaminium, 3-[(4-amino-6-bromo-5,8-dihydro-1-hydroxy-8-imino-5-oxo-2-naphthalenyl)amino]-N,N,N-trimethyl-, chloride is 3.162 L/kg, that does not exceed the bioconcentration threshold of 2000. Thus it is concluded that Benzenaminium, 3-[(4-amino-6-bromo-5,8-dihydro-1-hydroxy-8-imino-5-oxo-2-naphthalenyl)amino]-N,N,N-trimethyl-, chloride is not expected to bioaccumulate in the food chain because it does not exceed the BCF criteria.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

BCF (aquatic species):
3.162 L/kg ww
