Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Vapour pressure:
198.65 hPa
at the temperature of:
25 °C

Additional information

The vapour pressure of DIPE was sourced from the CRC Handbook of Chemistry and Physics (81st Ed.), which is known to contain peer-reviewed data of Klimisch-2 reliability and reports a value of 198.65 hPa (equivalent to 19865 Pa) at 25 ºC. Information regarding the vapour pressure of DIPE also was obtained from a secondary source by Daubert and Danner (1989), and was reported as 19.8 kPa (equivalent to 19800 Pa). This information although comparable with the value from the CRC handbook, it is of Klimisch-4 reliability, and as such is not considered valid.
