Applicant's summary and conclusion
- Validity criteria fulfilled:
- yes
- Conclusions:
- Chrome antimony titanium buff rutile is not acutely toxic to fish in a test according to the German industrial standard test guideline DIN 38 412, part L15 using golden orfe (Leuciscus idus) with suspensions prepared at nominal concentrations far exceeding its water solubility and the respective LC50 is estimated with > 10000 mg/L (nominal, dispersed). However, since no analytical measurement of the test suspensions was performed, the reliability of the study is rated RL3.
