Additional information

In 2003, acute toxicity of DMSO to Daphnia magna has been investigated by Barbosa and al. through the OECD Guideline 202.

EC 50 - 48h determined for Daphnia magna was of 24600 mg/L.

All the other acute toxicity to aquatic invertebrates studies (carried out on several species) support the low toxicity of DMSO.
