Additional information

2 tests on fish are considered to be valid. One is performed on guppy (LC50 is 29.9 mg/L) and the other one on fathead minnow (LC50 is 77.8 mg/L), with reliability 2 and 1 respectively. The lowest LC50 of 29.9 mg/L (96h, guppy) is selected for the CSA.

2 other tests show lower LC50, however one is performed with a very low O2 concentration (about 50% of the initial concentration at 48 h, no data at 96 h and assessed with the reliability 3) and the other one is performed with rainbow trout sac-fry (48h LD50 = 10.9 mg/L), having a different susceptibility than the juveniles used in the OECD 203 guideline and with very poor information on the test justifying the reliability 4.

2 other tests of reliability 4, because very little information is available, are performed by the Japan Ministry of Environment according to OECD 203 (96h-LC50 = 67 mg/L) and OECD 204 (21d-LC50= 29 mg/L) respectively.
