The study was waived based on that the substance is corrosive.

Additional information

As indicated in REACH Annex VII, an acute oral toxicity study does not need to be conducted when the substance is classified as corrosive to the skin.

Justification for classification or non-classification

For respective non-acetate polyamine available data results classification GHS Cat. 4 (OECD 423: LD50300 to 2000, cut-off = 500). The same response can be expected for the acetate substance, which is as the non-acetate polyamine also classified as corrosive.
