Description of key information

Acute toxicity to fish (Oryzias latipes) was conducted according to OECD-Guideline 203.
After 96 hours of exposure an LC50 of 2.7 mg/L was obtained.
(MITI, 2002)

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

The result for acute toxicity to fish obtained from a peer-reviewed handbook form MITI, 2002 is preferred as key study, since in the study from Bayer, 1984 1g of the test substance was dissolved in 1g ethanol.

However the Bayer AG study get a reliability "2", since the value is nearly the same as reported in MITI, 2002
