The "Guidance on information requirements and chemical safety assessment Chapter R.7.a Endpoint specific guidance (May 2008), section R.7.1.1.4, page 34", states that "the physical form of the test substance must be known in order to select an appropriate method. For solids, the test method does not work well for substances with a melting point of <160°C and testing is not required." The melting point of Feropur is 347 °C and hence, testing is not applicable.
