Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

The toxicity assessment of FeNaIDHA was performed according to OECD Guideline 202 and test method C.2 and in compiance with GLP (OECD, 1997). The aim of the study was evaluation of acute toxicity to Daphnia manga exposed to a range of concentrations of the test material (determination of EC50, EC0 and EC100 in mg/L after 24h and 48h exposure).

The test material was used in only one concentration (limit test) - 100 mg/L. Because of no mortality was observed in tested Daphnia population the EC50/48h value is above 100 mg/L, EC0 value is equel or above 100 mg/L, and EC100 value is above 100 mg/L.

Taking this information into account it can be concluded that results obtained for acute toxicity of FeNaIDHA are also applicable for Mg(2Na)IDHA and presence of Mg cation in Mg(2Na)IDHA molecule instead Fe3+could not influence of it acute toxicity to aquatic invertebrates.
