Bis(2-ethylhexyl) hydrogen phosphate is of liquid state, and the oxidizing properties of bis(2-ethylhexyl) hydrogen phosphate was determined according the EU method A.21 (UN O.2). The reaction times obtained for the sample considerably exceed the reference value and showed that bis(2-ethylhexyl) hydrogen phosphate has no oxidizing properties.

In accordance with section 2.4 and section 2.14 of Annex I of the CLP Regulation, the studies do not need to be conducted, as this sections relate to gases and solids, respectively.

Justification for classification or non-classification

Bis(2-ethylhexyl) hydrogen phosphatehas no oxidising properties and hence no classification according to both Directive 67/548/EEC and CLP Regulation EC 1272/2008 is required.
