Heating up to 400 °C the test item was black and still solid (test item contracted). The test item decomposed.

 

In the pre-test, the test item showed signs of decomposition before melting indicated by colour change.

The study was terminated. The melting point of the test item could not be determined under these circumstances because of decomposition before melting.
