Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.
The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information
The onset-temperature for exothermal degradation was analysed by differential scanning calorimetry. An exothermic signal for 3,3’-Methylen-bis(5-methyloxazolidine) was observed at 186 °C, respectively .
Additional information
The study provides reliable data. Differential scanning calorimetry is a suitable method for the measurement of thermal stability and the determined values for the onset-temperature for exothermal degradation are in the same range. It was concluded in the study of Lubrizol, that the substance can be handled safely up to 90 °C considering a safety margin of 100K.
