The test substance was tested according UN Transport Regulations Test O.2. No spontaneous ignition of test substance mixed with cellulose (pressure rise was less than 2070 kPa gauge).

In none of the five trials an overpressure of 20.7 bar was reached. The test substance is thus not considered an oxidising liquid.

Justification for classification or non-classification

Dangerous Substance Directive (67/548/EEC)

Based on the data of the substance and taking into account the provisions laid down in Directive 67/548/EEC (DSD), as amended for the 31st time in Directive 2009/2/EG, the test item does not have to be classified with respect to oxidising properties.

 

Classification, Labelling, and Packaging Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008

Based on the data of the substance and taking into account the provisions laid down in Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008, as amended for the sixth time in Regulation (EC) No 605/2014, the substance is not considered to be classified for oxidising properties.
