Hexanoic acid, 2-ethyl-, zinc salt, basic was determined to be miscible with n-octanol in a 1:1 (w:v) ratio. The n-octanol solubility was therefore estimated to be > 1000 g/L.
Water solubility:
In a 2 mg/l aqueous solution, still undissolved hexanoic acid, 2-ethyl-, zinc salt, basic was observed. The water solubility was therefore estimated to be 2 mg/L .
