Description of key information
Exposure to PGE vapour for 24 months resulted in incidences of nasal tumours at 12 ppm (74 mg/m3) (11 % in males and 4.4% in females). No nasal tumours were found in rats exposed at 1ppm for 24 months.

In accordance with the harmonised scheme for classification and labelling in Regulation EC 1272/2008 (index number 603 -067 -00 -X), phenylglycidyl ether is classified as Carcinogenic Category 1B.
