Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Log Kow (Log Pow):
3.32

Additional information

The available guidelines were assessed for their suitability to use in the determination of the partition coefficient of the test material. It was determined that the standardised guidelines OECD 107, OECD 117, EU Method A.A.8, US EPA OPPTS 830.7550 and US EPA OPPTS 830.7570 were not appropriate due to the test material reacting rapidly with water.

As the shake flask method, HPLC method or estimation method could not be performed on the original compound, the partition coefficient was estimated by calculation. The study has been assigned a reliability score of 2 in line with the principles for assessing data quality as defined by Klimisch et al. (1997).

Determination of the partition coefficient was performed based on the molecular structure of the test material using the Rekker calculation method (PrologP 6.0, module in Pallas 3.0, CompuDrug International).

Under the conditions of the study, the log Pow of the test material was calculated to be 3.32, corresponding with a Pow value of 2.1 x 10³.
