Executive summary:

The surface tension of the test substance was determined to be > 35 mN/m at 21 °C based on measurements at 125 and 1000 mg/L with a tensiometer following the ASTM D1331 standard.

Description of key information

The surface tension of the aqueous solutions of the test item was determined according to ASTM D1331 using the tensiometer method to be 38 and 35 mN/m, at 21 °C and 125 mg/L and 1000 mg/L, respectively.

According to Council Regulation 440/2008 the test substance should be regarded as being a surface-active material.

Key value for chemical safety assessment
