Method:

The water solubility of the test item was determined using the shake flask method. The saturation mass concentration of the test itemwas determined using a HPLC method.

Result of the Preliminary Test (non-GLP):

The test item was found miscible with water. Thus a ratio of 1:1 test item to water was used for the main test.

Result of the Main Test:

The concentration of the test item was measured using an HPLC method. The linearity of the analytical method was proven in the concentration range from 10 to 300 mg test item/L. The regression coefficient was determined to be 0.9999.

No differences higher than 4 % were found between samples. Therefore, the study is considered to be valid.

The test item was found completely miscible with water. Corresponding to the analysis the water solubility of the test item was calculated to be 522 g/L at 20 °C.
