There are conclusive but not sufficient data for classification of the substance with regard to mutagenicity.


The substance is not classified for this endpoint in accordance to the CLP Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008.

Additional information

In an investigation of the anti-tumor activities of stilbene derivatives used as brighteners, a marked tumor-inhibiting activity on solid forms of Ehrlich carcinoma, sarcoma 180 and carcinoma 63 was detected. Stilbene derivatives showed no effects on Ehrlich ascites carcinoma.
